Hay Guys I started with the removal as I have seen, that went well, then I did the removal on the screen and that part went well too. Until I got to the reflector, it had 18 pin head screws in it and the led's ; man did I have a time with that part of it , at first I thought that's okay, it glue, no it had screws so small until I curse, I manage t...Read More
o get them out without a problem, and then replace the led's and started the reversal of putting the tv back together. That is when thing got a little tough , After I got the reflector and led's back in and put the screen back on, but plastic Fram did not want to seal right, okay I said , let me see, I thought that if I put the screws back in the bottom of the Frame may be that will help. it did not at all help; and while I was put the screws in the bottom Frame that gave me a head ache. Some how I manage to creak the screen from one corner to the other diagonally, this I wasn't a ware that I had did until I check the problem with the Frame to see why it was not sealing properly. That is when I saw the creak on the screen , I said dam it gone now a new tv on rise. I FAIL THIS TIME ; I WILL NOT THE NEXT: Read Less

Q: My Vizio D40F-G9 will turn on and picture looks fine for a couple of minutes then starts to degrade until there is no picture and only sound. If powered off then back on there is no sound or picture. If unplugged from the wall left over night I can repeat the on for short time then fading screen and then only sound. Do you think replacing the main board with one of these new ones would fix the problem?
