ore the Super Bowl so I could repair the set in time for the game, FedEx didn't deliver the parts until Monday after the game despite Friday as the date indicated by both ShopJimmy's website and FedEx.

I repaired the set the following day using all of the parts provided and the set worked perfectly and I enjoyed having it working once again. That evening, I turned the set off as usual prior to going to bed. The following morning, the set would not turn on (the original problem that I bought the kit to repair). So now I have a full set of repair parts that worked for a day and arrived late at additional cost.

I don't plan to pursue this any further as the additional costs of repair (repurchase another repair kit, etc.) will not guarantee that I receive parts that will last, and any additional costs at this point could be used towards the purchase of a new set. At the end of the day, the parts are only as good as the quality from the manufacturer, so I can't blame ShopJimmy, however there's really no recourse for receiving a bad batch of repair parts.
