What are LED strips?

LED strips are the light source behind the LCD screen in LED TVs (yes, the screen is still LCD). These strips get their power from the LED driver or the power supply board and control the image brightness on your TV screen.

Which symptoms do LED strips fix in a TV?

• If you see very dim video or no video on the screen, but you know your TV has power and is on, then the LED strips could be bad.

• If you see very dim video or no video on only a portion of the screen while the rest of the screen is bright/normal, then the LED strips could be bad.

Shipping was expected to international. Parts arrived well packed. They were an updated version of the original marked and seemed to be a better build. TV worked perfectly after installed. cut-outs, removing only the amount of adhesive backing necessary for each as the double-sided tape is VERY strong. This is the second set of backlights I have ordered from ShopJimmy to repair my TVs and probably won't be my last. Time consuming, but not difficult repair. Take photos before removing screws and cables. Read Less

Q: What is the condition of the strips? We live in Toronto, Canada. When would we get it?

A: Those are like new and have 180 day warranty. If you chose FedEx delivery it will take roughly 5 business days. If you chose USPS takes about 2 weeks give or take.
