What is a DLP lamp?

A DLP lamp is a really bright bulb designed to output intense white light, which gets focused into the light engine in a DLP TV and then projected to the mirrors/lenses and to the TV screen.

Which symptoms does a DLP lamp fix in a TV?

•  If your TV wonā€™t turn on, then the DLP lamp/bulb could be bad.

•  If one of the status LEDs on the front of your TV is flashing, then the DLP lamp/bulbcould be bad.

*These are helpful tips to get you started and donā€™t represent accurate diagnoses for every TV model and failure. If youā€™re unsure of your diagnosis, we recommend checking out our YouTube channel or reaching out to a local TV technician for assistance.

How easy is it to replace a DLP lamp?

It's easy! Once you match the part number on your DLP lamp/bulb with the part number listed on this page to confirm compatibility, youā€™ll just need a screwdriver and the ability to remove the back of your TV and replace the lamp/bulb.
